Only stories well told,
are stories well heard
.

Culture.  Technology.  Politics.  The world around us is changing.  But what makes us human does not.  We see this as a chance to create films that unite us through shared emotions, celebrating the essence of who we are.  That's why we make unafraid, joyful and thoughtful content.

We are evocative.

Behind The Scenes

Evocative Content is a new content creation studio, founded by two industry leaders, known for their boundless energy, production savvy and creative wit.  Amy and Terence are transatlantic misfits, lovers of both Marmite and Bagels, who never quite fit in.  But together, they fit perfectly.

A marriage of documentary acumen with branding and marketing ingenuity,  Evocative excels in visual narratives, working with programmers, marketers and philanthropists looking for bold, contextual, carefully-crafted storytelling.

Who we are.

Terence Williams

Executive Producer / Partner

Emmy-award winning creative, Terence has been producing marketing campaigns, branded content and documentaries for over the past 20 years. Terence arrived in New York, knowing his true heart was in visual media. He worked off-broadway, staging theater productions before opening up a small studio in the basement of a TriBeca loft. He honed his filmmaking skills, animating title sequences and graphics packages for TV shows as well as writing/producing promos for TV networks like Comedy Central, MTV & TNT. He soon started directing commercials for blue-chip brands like Panasonic and Verizon which took him around the world. From there, it was a natural fit to rebrand cable networks Hallmark, Starz and Encore. Terence established his own creative agency, bobsyouruncle, producing marketing campaigns, branded content and documentaries for entertainment companies like A&E, USA, SyFy, Nickelodeon, Paramount and Discovery. Terence is proud to be active in the area of social impact marketing, producing content and live-stream events for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, as well as editing documentary narratives for publishers and ad agencies alike. His editing has been particularly sought after in the field of documentary and verité storytelling. On the weekends Terence can be found coaching soccer in Ironbound, Newark or heading up to the hills to ski, hike and generally love nature.

  • It is often said that the true magic happens in the edit room.  As editors ourselves, we agree.  But it doesn’t stop, close attention to graphics, color, and audio mix are an essential part of the finishing. We don’t stop until the story is just right.
